Welcome to AdFlow (“we”, “our”, or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you use our feed management app (the “app”) and related services on Shopify.

1. The Data Controller

AdFlow is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data described in this policy. Our contact details are provided in the “Contact Us” section below.

2. Information We Collect

We collect and process only the minimum personal data necessary for app functionality, in compliance with Shopify and data protection regulations like GDPR and CCPA.

We collect two types of data, depending on how you interact with our app.

a. Account and Login Information

When you install and onboard into the app, we may collect the following personal data:
  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Store/Website URL
  • Authentication details (e.g., OAuth tokens or login credentials)
  This data is collected and used strictly to enable secure login, verify your account, and provide administrative access to your widget settings.

B. Store information

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your e-commerce store. The app does not share any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) without your specific action or explicit request with the advertising platforms. Below given is the list of Permissions we take about your store and its information and products.

Store Information

We are collecting basic information from a store like Shop Owner’s Name, Store Name, Store Domain, Address, Contact Email, Support Email, Phone No, etc. This information shall be used to:

  • Create an account on our App.
  • We use this personally identifiable information of store owners to have effective communication related to different processes on our app.
  • We send emails related to updates launched, bug fixes, updates in the documentation, and any other change that may affect the utility of this app.

Read Products

These permissions allow us to read the product information like product Title, Description, Images, Prices, Barcode and SKUs, Variants, and their details, etc… However, this permission does not give us access to any Personally Identifiable Information of any individual.

 

About the information related to any identifiable individual

 

In most of the use cases, we don’t collect, process, or store any information that can be considered personally identifiable information of any customer of our app user. However, we take access to the order and customer data of a merchant.

C. Data Processed via Google's API

Our App places a high value on your privacy and treats your data with the utmost care and responsibility. Any data we obtain through Google APIs is used by our app or shared with other applications in strict adherence to the Google API Services User Data Policy. This includes strict compliance with the policy’s Limited Use requirements.

3. How We Use Data

We use the data we collect solely to:

  • Operate and maintain the functionality of the app.
  • Provide secure login access so you can manage your settings.
  • Perform general analytics to improve service performance (e.g., usage count, error tracking).

We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal information.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not share your personal data with any third-party vendors, except for the following essential service providers:

  • Hosting providers: (e.g., AWS) to host our services.
  • Authentication services: (e.g., OAuth providers) for secure login.

 

All of our third-party partners are compliant with major data privacy regulations.

5. International Data Transfers

Your data, including your personal data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ. By using our service, you consent to this transfer. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

8. Data Retention

We comply with Shopify’s mandatory webhooks (customers/redact, customers/data_request, shop/redact). 

Upon app uninstallation, we delete all associated data within 48 hours, as required. We process data subject requests (e.g., access, erasure) within applicable timelines.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy via email or in-app notifications, in addition to posting updates on this page.

Your continued use of our service after the changes indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
